Today was cold and overcast, and I was in the mood for hot chocolate – white hot chocolate with coconut to be precise.
This is a simple recipe and will take you 10 minutes to make – even less if you don’t want whipped cream (although it does make it extra delicious).
Ingredients for two large mugs of hot chocolate:
A handful or so of good quality white chocolate
100 ml Coconut milk
Grated coconut
150 ml cream
250 ml milk
Then:
Whip the cream with a sprinkle of grated coconut.
In a small saucepan add in the milk, the coconut milk, and the chocolate. Stir on a low heat until the chocolate has completely melted.
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of grated coconut.
Enjoy!
